Here’s a look at Sea Club’s most recent activities in 2025

Charity Bazaar #3

SEA Club successfully held our Charity Bazaar #3 on 30 November 2025, where we connected with families, neighbours, and the community to raise awareness about autism and highlight supported employment for adults with autism. The bazaar featured food, crafts, and meaningful interactions that allowed our PWAs to engage confidently with visitors.

SeaClub at UKM Autism Awareness Carnival

SEA Club had a booth during the Autism Awareness Carnival: Heart of the Rainbow at UKM on 23 August 2025 where we enjoyed engaging with families and the community to raise awareness about autism. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us!

Tyre & Stone Painting at Nathaniel Center

SEA Club was delighted to be invited for the first time to a therapeutic art session on 22 August 2025 at the Nathaniel Center. Participants explored tyre and stone painting, an activity that encouraged calmness, focus, and creativity. Thank you to the organisers for having us. It was a meaningful experience in blending art with wellbeing!

SECOND SPECIAL JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT SPORTS CARNIVAL 2025

SEA Club proudly congratulates our very own Philip Leong King Yuen for his remarkable achievements this year!  Philip won bronze in men’s singles and placed fourth in doubles at the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Badminton Competition 2025, after earlier emerging champion in the badminton singles at the Second Special Junior Development Sports Carnival 2025-2 in Ipoh.

Basketball Match between MBT & SEA Club

SEA Club was delighted to participate in a friendly basketball match with Montfort Boys Town on 12th July 2025. It was a great way to encourage physical fitness, promote teamwork, inclusion, and mutual respect while having fun on the court!

Monfort Boys Town Charity Carnival

SEA Club was proud to take part in the Montfort Boys Town Charity Carnival on June 15th, where we set up two lively booths featuring a spread of breakfast and lunch items, homemade cakes and pastries as well as a beautiful selection of handmade crafts by our community. 

Basketball Practice

Our community has been actively training for the upcoming MBT Basketball Match. Aside from building teamwork, coordination, and confidence, the session also helped to strengthen communication and social interaction key skills both on and off the court.

A Day at PPDK Sinar Harapan Vegetable Farm

We spent a meaningful day supporting the vegetable farm at Pertubuhan Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PPDK) Sinar Harapan. The activity involved general weeding and clean-up work, helping to maintain the farm following a recent round of land clearing.

Exercise at Taman Jaya & Museum Visit

Our community enjoyed a meaningful day combining light outdoor exercises at Taman Jaya with an engaging visit to the Petaling Jaya Museum. It was a mix of movement, and learning - promoting both physical well-being and a deeper appreciation for local history.

Trip to Satay Kajang

Our community enjoyed a trip to Kajang to experience the iconic local satay! The purpose of the outing was to help participants build confidence in commuting independently using public transportation, as well as practice life skills such as ordering food and handling payments.

Scented Candles for MBT Carnival

In preparation for the MBT Carnival, our group came together to handcraft beautifully scented candles as part of our income-generating efforts.

A Day at the Dentist

Participants received dental check-up and scaling services, thanks to the team from the Ministry of Health (KKM), Kelana Jaya. For those needing further treatment, on-the-spot referrals were arranged for follow-up appointments at the nearest KKM clinic.

Fun Planting!

We spent a joyful day outdoors planting a variety of flowers and greenery. Participants also learned useful gardening tips and techniques while enjoying the fresh air and good company. The activity ended on a sweet note with light refreshments shared among friends.

Holiday in PD

Our community enjoyed a fun and relaxing overnight trip to Port Dickson! The getaway included games, opportunities to socialise with colleagues, and meaningful moments of connection with parents. It was a refreshing experience filled with laughter, bonding, and seaside fun.
