BACKGROUND
Who and why was it formed? NGO formed by Parents (with more than 20 years’ service work with children and adolescent PWA) together with concerned person.To facilitate and support adult PWA, to work in a sheltered workshop environment and also enable them to socialize, engage in indoor and outdoor activities. There are NO organizations which provide such features as above. Other centers may be available, but these are beyond the reach of many PWAs.
DESIRED RESULTS

Employment leads to a feeling of confidence and raises self-esteem of each PWA (Persons with Autism)

Eligible to apply for work-allowances with JKM.

Prevent regression and “challenging behaviors”.

Formulate a blue print of projects that are suitable for at least 25 PWA’s . Projects that are able to generate some form of revenue. This revenue will become their monthly earnings in the form of wages /allowances.
OBJECTIVES
Provide “Supported employment” in a sheltered workshop environment for adult Person With Autism (PWA).Enable PWA to work, socialize, engage in indoor and outdoor activities in a holistic manner.
